From Burbank (SD) to Burbank (CA)!

Douglas was born of humble beginnings in a small town in Southeastern South Dakota. A little town called Burbank!

He didn't much care for chores and longed to move away to the city.

He moved to MANHATTAN, New York to attended The American Musical and Dramatic Academy , (or AMDA) A Musical Theater conservatory “Best time of my life!”~ Douglas Roegiers

Post AMDA Doug moved Out West! Los Angeles! Only for a few years, to be chewed up and spat out...... "THAT'S LIFE!"

After a three year hiatus, and some domestic training, he returned to Los Angeles, and has chosen to throw his hat in to the ring of the late “Great American crooners" . Bing Crosby and Louie Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Dean Martin name some of his favorites.

In the beginning, his choice to become a singer was giving some notoriety  when LA MAGAZINE gave him the title of "Best of LA"! http://www.lamag.com/guides/bola/Details.aspx?id=5393

He recently became the new 'front man' for a 9 piece Swing Band called 'Phat Cat Swinger!"
